Haven't done a journal in a while so I thought I'd let you all know how my local con went. SCI-FI ON THE ROCK The con took place in April, from 20th - 22nd. One of the most surprising things about the on was the weather; It felt like summer and the sun was shinning for most of the weekend. With that being said, the con itself was not all sunshine and flowers; there were problems but I plan to focus on the good parts (which did outweigh the bad). About 10 days ago I realized Thor was on netflix and decided to watch it again. I had not seen the movie since it was in theaters. When I watched it this time I really focused on Loki and his story; After watching the movie two times that weekend I knew I had to cosplay him. A few days ago I bought some of the fabric for his top. It's going alright so far but I feel like this will be a costume that won't look good until everything is done. I do have most of the top stuff done, so I am pumped about that. I really want to have this costume done in time for the movie but between school, finals, and Sci-Fi on the Rock I am really busy until then

I've decided to put Sailor Saturn on hold for now. When I cut the fabric for the skirts it was a little off, which will result in shorter skirts. The best solution I have is to make the skirts differently then I planned to and add trim to the bottom. I'm a little exhausted by all that I will have to do now so I think it needs to be put aside. For my first con this year, Sci-Fi on the Rock, I am no longer going to be Eternal Sailor Saturn. As of right now I will wear Lolita on the first day and on Sunday Sailor Moon. I may try to make something else in time, but it really depends on money. For Animaritime the plan is to wear Eternal Sailor S
